The Art of Living Foundation is one of the world’s largest volunteer based, humanitarian and educational Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO) . It was founded in 1981 by His Holiness Sri Sri Ravi Shankar with the vision of creating a stress-free, violence-free society. The Art of Living has reached out to over 300 million people in over 152 countries with its various programs’. The Foundation is working in special consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) of the United Nations
Art of Living Foundation is dedicated to serving society by strengthening the individual. It is done by offering programs that eliminate stress, create a sense of belonging, restore human values, and encourage people from all backgrounds, religions, and cultural traditions to come together in celebration and service.
